The lighthouse atop Autumn Spire serves as a beacon, projecting a beam of warm light into the sky. Since participants are meant to engage with the sculpture physically, the light at the top of the spire is connected to the wheel at the base, which participants can turn to change the direction of the light, sending a signal into the night sky.
Autumn Spire continues its journey to be shared with new audiences, and was featured as part of TRANSFIX, the world’s largest touring immersive art experience in Las Vegas in April 2022.
